Rotary Club of Maumelle presents Taste of Maumelle, 5:00-7:00 May 3rd at Maumelle Middle School dining hall.

MAC Launches Major Membership Drive.
The Maumelle Arts Council has launched its 2008 membership drive. We are offering individual memberships for $25/year, family memberships for $50/year and local business memberships for $100/year. I hope that each of you will join us in building the arts in Maumelle by becoming contributing member of MAC. For about $2 per month you can be a part of binging the arts to our children and all citizens of Maumelle. Many of you may have received our request to become a member in a recent letter. Poetry is Coming Alive at the MAC Center
Harding Stedler and an eclectic group of local poetry enthusiasts are meeting every second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm at the MAC Center on Frontier Drive. They share their original works and discuss poetry of the masters. Harding's many years of teaching at the university level coupled with his recognized literary skills make him an ideal mentor for mentoring this vibrant band of local poets. Why don't you join us at the next scheduled gathering,April 10 at 7:00. You will be glad you did.
